Trips for at least two days - there is no maximum time limit (record = 22 days with 2 clients)

  The excursions on horseback are something like dreams made reality. It is possible to accede to remote places, difficult but magical, which are the prize for the spirit of the ones who love life, nature and creation.

 The passion and love for horses finds a new climax in these exursions. On horseback it is possible to reach far away places pretty rapidly, and with a minimum of effort. 

In the untouched nature we can witness the beauties of the Andes, valleys, gorges, panoramic views, spectacular rock formations and incredible colours. 

Admiring all the magical nature around us, we can reach to a point where we can look at Pisco Elqui down there at the East, and just turning the head to the West we can see the Pacific Ocean.... way down, big, impressive.... and there is one single thought occuring in our minds:  how tiny we human beings are......      

"Alcohuaz Expediciones"  has experience with excursions up to 22 days, visiting the valleys of Elqui, Rio Hurtado and Limari. 
On these longer tours you can have a look at practically all of the local flora and fauna, ancient remnants of the native inhabitants and a lot of antique pictures and drawings on rocks.  We can also see the different development of the valleys. There are local inhabitants, farmers, shepherds, and a lot of virginal places without smog, commercials, telephones, pollution etc. 
We invite you to know a total different world here in the mountains of the Andes.
